Frankincense Essential Oil
Frankincense Oil is derived from the genus of Boswellia and is obtained from Boswellia carterii, Boswellia ferreana or Boswellia serrata in the regions of Somalia, Pakistan and India.
These trees are very different from others as it can grow in harsh and tough conditions, with very little soil.
The word frankincense comes from the term “frankincense” which means quality incense in old French. Frankincense has been associated with many different religions over the years, especially the Christian religion, as it was one of the first gifts given to Jesus by the wise men.
